I have a fascinating hobby, making bobbinlace. Already at a young age this craft did interest me. As a child I loved to sit beside my mother, when she was making bobbinlace and imitated everything what she did, only I did not use bobbins but colored pencils.

For my 13th birthday my mother bought me a pillow and bobbins. This was an ernormous treat, because those materials were not easy to buy un that time. From that moment I enjoyed playing with bobbins, threads en pins.

For over 20 years ago I started to teach lace myself. I got my training with the NKO,
the Dutch Bobbin lace Education and got my teachers certificate about 20 years ago.
