Drawing a corner in Torchon with "paddepootje" and a flower.

| We start with drawing the motif in the normal way. Here it is a 6-leaves flower with a cloth stich around. Be sure not to use the original documents with the grid, but make a copy first by saving it with a new name. |

We draw the 2 halves of the 6-leaves flower. Mind to draw the half under the centre of the flower on the upperside of the motif and the other half the other way around. Around both halves we draw cloth stitch rows and on the left hand side a line for the edge. To be complete we can also draw lines for the 2 pairs of cloth stitch in the edge.

For the "paddepootje" first we draw a circle on an other layer. The centre straight under the most outer point of the cloth stitch motif. The circle has to be that big, that the line goes through the point next to the most outer point of the cloth stitch motif. |

We cut the circle with the siccors on the points on the horizontal line necxt to the outer points of the cloth stitch motifs. Between the points another 7 points has to be put on the remaining part of the circle on regular distances. Draw these points on the layer of the drawing and not on the layer of the circle. Then you can more easier delete the circle or put the layer on not to show and to print. |

The complete motif looks like this. The points, that are not needed and the circle are deleted.The more careful we draw the motif, the more easy we can complete the pattern.This motif has to be duplicated and paste against each other until we have about the half of the length of corner to corner. |

From the most outer pojnt of the "paddepootje" we draw a guideline on 45° up to the last line of the edge.Along this guideline we delete parts of the motif. The remaining is half a corner. We select the complete prikking by "select all" (entry: control a). The selection is to be coppied (entry: control c) and rotate it 90° CCW and reflect it horizontally. Paste both parts exact against each other.
Adjust the points, rows and leaves, that are not correct, and the corner is finished.
